Paint Night - 200585

Come unleash the hidden artist in you at "Paint Night". Ms. Cate will guide you in a no pressure, step-by-step manner that will leave you with a painting the great masters would be jealous of. After this three hour painting session you will leave with a Over the Moon themed acrylic painting. Ms. Cate provides mocks, but please dress in old clothes.

Yoga has also been shown to help the hyperactive and attention-deficit child. These children crave movement and sensory/motor stimulus. Yoga helps channel these impulses in a positive way. Yoga is a great gift to give your child. Bring a mat and water bottle.

Parent & Child Yoga Meditation - 219704

You and your child will learn and practice yoga basics - breathing techniques, yoga warm-ups, and foundational yoga poses that stretch, strengthen, and balance you. You'll also learn Partner Yoga poses you can do together that will enhance your stretches and enjoyment. This class ends with relaxation/meditation. It is a special time in which you can honor each other and create a tradition of exploring greater physical and emotional health together. Bring a mat and blanket. If your child loves books and art, then this is the class for them! Each week in Art & Literature for the Young Artist, children will explore the literature of well known authors and illustrators such as Eric Carle and Maurice Sendak. They will be introduced to elements of art and design and create 2-D and 3-D works of art using different mediums such as clay, watercolor paints, acrylic and/or tempera paints, and a variety of sculpture materials. This class will teach your little chef what each color of the rainbow means in the food world. We will start the class making our own rainbows of what we are eating now, and then as the days go by, we are going to see how many more colors we can add. We will find fun ways to cook and eat our way through the rainbow! A $50 materials fee is due the first class.
